Terms & Conditions

These Terms & Conditions govern your access to and use of VaultiXe, a digital platform owned and operated by SkyCorp Nexus Solutions Ltd. By creating an account or using VaultiXe, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree with these Terms, you should not use the service.

1. Ownership

VaultiXe is a product owned and operated by SkyCorp Nexus Solutions Ltd. All rights and intellectual property relating to the VaultiXe platform, including its software, branding, design, interfaces, platform features, and other proprietary materials, are owned by us or our licensors.

You retain ownership of the files, documents, media, and other content that you upload, create, or store on VaultiXe. Nothing in these Terms transfers ownership of your content to VaultiXe.

You grant VaultiXe a limited, non-exclusive license to host, store, process, transmit, display, and otherwise handle your content only to the extent reasonably necessary to provide, maintain, secure, and operate the services and features you choose to use.

2. Account Responsibilities

You must provide accurate and up-to-date information when creating and maintaining your account.
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for activity carried out through your account.
You should use reasonable measures to protect your account credentials and notify VaultiXe if you become aware of unauthorized access or suspicious activity.
Passwords are not stored in plain text and are protected using appropriate security measures.
VaultiXe may provide different encryption methods depending on the service, file, or settings applicable to the content, including Server-Side Encryption (SSE) and Client-Side End-to-End Encryption (CE2EE).

3. Acceptable Use and File Sharing

VaultiXe is provided for the storage, protection, management, and sharing of your files and other supported content.
You may access another user's files only when the owner or an authorized user has explicitly shared them with you through an available VaultiXe sharing feature.
Sharing permissions and encryption methods are separate concepts. Shared content remains protected according to the encryption method applicable to that content, including SSE or CE2EE where supported.
You may not attempt to access accounts, files, or other content that you are not authorized to access.
You may not distribute malicious software, use VaultiXe for unlawful activities, abuse the platform, interfere with its operation, or attempt to bypass or disable security measures.
You are responsible for ensuring that content you upload, store, or share does not violate applicable law or the rights of others.

4. Privacy

Your personal information is handled according to our Privacy Policy. By using VaultiXe, you acknowledge that your information may be collected, used, stored, and processed as described in that policy.

5. Data Security and Encryption

We use technical and organizational measures designed to protect information processed through VaultiXe, including encryption, authentication controls, access controls, secure infrastructure, and other security practices appropriate to the services.

VaultiXe may use Server-Side Encryption (SSE) for standard storage. Under SSE, encryption and decryption are managed by VaultiXe as necessary to provide normal platform functionality.

VaultiXe may also provide Client-Side End-to-End Encryption (CE2EE) for supported files or features. Under CE2EE, supported content is encrypted on the client before being stored, providing an additional layer of privacy and protection.

The encryption method applicable to a file depends on the encryption mode selected or otherwise applied to that content. Encryption does not change the ownership of your content.

While we use reasonable and industry-appropriate security practices, no online service can guarantee complete protection against every possible security threat.

6. Service Availability

VaultiXe may occasionally experience outages, maintenance periods, service interruptions, technical limitations, or circumstances beyond our reasonable control. We aim to maintain reliable service and minimize disruption but do not guarantee uninterrupted or continuous availability.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the extent permitted by applicable law, SkyCorp Nexus Solutions Ltd will not be responsible for losses or damages arising from misuse of VaultiXe, unauthorized activity resulting from failure to protect account credentials, service interruptions, third-party services, technical failures beyond our reasonable control, or other events for which we are not legally responsible.

Nothing in these Terms is intended to exclude or limit liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited under applicable law.

8. Termination

We may suspend or terminate an account where we reasonably believe the account has violated these Terms, applicable law, or poses a security, legal, or operational risk to VaultiXe or its users.

You may close your account at any time. Account closure and deletion of content are subject to the applicable deletion processes described in our Privacy Policy and the features available through VaultiXe.

Once content has been permanently deleted from the applicable systems, it may not be recoverable. You are responsible for exporting any files or information you wish to keep before permanently deleting your account or content.

9. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time as VaultiXe evolves, our services change, or legal, security, or operational requirements are updated. The updated Terms will be posted on VaultiXe and the effective date will be updated accordingly.

Where we consider a change material and reasonably appropriate, we may also notify affected users through additional channels such as email or an in-app notification.

Your continued use of VaultiXe after updated Terms become effective constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms, to the extent permitted by applicable law.

10. Governing Law and Disputes

These Terms are governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, except where applicable law requires otherwise.

Any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or your use of VaultiXe will be subject to the applicable dispute-resolution procedures and the jurisdiction of the appropriate courts in Nigeria.
